Multiple Page Editing
Added true multi-page viewing and editing which allows users to both see more of their music and edit everything they see.

While Finale has always been able to display multiple pages on your computer screen, edits could only be made on one page at a time. Now you can simultaneously view and edit as many pages as you choose to view on your monitor.

Choose from multiple viewing options including single pages, facing pages, and tiled pages. Click to the next page, next pair of pages, or choose to scroll continuously – horizontally or vertically. You can even choose to view your entire piece on screen at once with a tiled view. No other music notation software offers this flexibility.

Automatic Rehearsal Marks – New in Finale 2010
Finale has automated the process of creating rehearsal marks in your score.

Easy to enter

• Use one keystroke (M) to quickly enter rehearsal marks anywhere in your score.
• Finale automatically sequences them correctly regardless of what order you enter them.
• Rehearsal marks are dynamically updated if you delete, insert, or move any rehearsal mark or measure.

Easy to customize

• Change the appearance (enclosure shape, font, size, numbers or letters, etc.) once to impact all current and future marks in your score.
• Control where to begin rehearsal mark sequencing (especially helpful when creating separate movements of a larger piece).

Selection Tool
The powerful Selection Tool has inherited all the functionality of the former Mass Edit Tool. Adapted for selecting measure regions, the Selection Tool is now Finale’s universal editing utility.
