Every January my entire family gets excited about the big event. For everyone but me, it’s the $150,000 Ice Fishing Contest near my hometown of Brainerd, Minnesota. This is where 10,000 people stand on a frozen lake trying to catch fish through holes in the ice.

Somehow I’ll leave this all behind to attend the NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. This is where 100,000 music industry professionals, from around the world, gather to experience the latest music products in-person.

On Wednesday, Jan 22 (the day before NAMM begins) MakeMusic is teaming up with the American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers (ASMAC) to host “The Hollywood Arrangers,” a unique opportunity to interact with top film and television composers and arrangers.
